BROSSARD, CANADA (14th May 2026) — As Superdough celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, the Malaysian-born immersive entertainment company is marking the milestone with a major scale-up of Breakout Brossard — the company’s first international franchise located at Quartier DIX30 in Brossard, Quebec, Canada.
Operating for more than 11 years,
Breakout Brossard remains one of Superdough’s longest-running international franchise partners. Originally launched with 7 escape room experiences, the outlet is now expanding its attraction lineup further with four newly introduced Breakout themes developed by the Superdough team in Malaysia.
The newly launched rooms include:
These are among the latest-generation escape room concepts created by Superdough and were first introduced in Malaysia before being adapted for the Canadian market.
To better connect with local audiences in Quebec, the experiences were translated into French and culturally localized while preserving the immersive storytelling and gameplay design that define the Breakout brand.
Founded in Kuala Lumpur in 2014, Breakout Escape Room has evolved from a single Malaysian outlet into an internationally recognized immersive entertainment brand known for story-driven escape games, interactive environments, and experience-led attractions. Unlike conventional puzzle-focused escape rooms, Breakout emphasizes narrative-driven gameplay where puzzles, environments, and interactions are designed to feel naturally connected to the story experience.
“Our goal was never just to create puzzles,” said the Superdough team. “We wanted players to feel immersed inside believable worlds where every interaction has purpose, assuring always fun experience.” said Johnny Ong, CEO of Superdough.
The latest scale-up forms part of a broader evolution of the Brossard location, which is progressively growing into a larger immersive entertainment destination featuring multiple Superdough brands under one roof, including Spy Game and Spy Game Junior launching in May 2026. Over the past decade, Superdough has expanded beyond traditional escape rooms into a wider portfolio of immersive entertainment concepts including:
Today, the company operates and collaborates across multiple international markets including Malaysia, Canada, South Korea, and the United States.
Rather than focusing heavily on anniversary celebrations, Superdough says its priority remains sustainable growth, operational discipline, and continuous improvement of customer experiences.
“In today’s business climate, we believe the best celebration is continuing to innovate carefully together with our teams and partners,” the company shared.
The continued growth of Breakout Brossard further strengthens Superdough’s position as one of Southeast Asia’s emerging creators of immersive entertainment intellectual property (IP), while opening new opportunities for international franchise and partnership development.
